Hello everyone. Now that I am engaged and we have decided definitely on a Disney wedding, I thought I would start making posts on here as a future Disney Bride!

A few weeks ago we had our engagement party which was an Alice in Wonderland theme. I thought I would share some photos from our party. I want to thank everyone that has helped point me in the right direction when I’ve asked about the tea party theme and everything else.

I did a lot of DIY including my invites, which I do not have a photo of at this moment, picks for the slices of cake, bunny cut outs, teacup design and centerpieces, favors (though bags were from Etsy) our guestbook was an Alice in Wonderland story book, and I sprayed a hat box for our cards.

I hope you enjoy the photos and I hope they may help some of you. If anyone has any questions I would be more than happy to help as so many of you have done for me.

Samantha sweetie - These are great pictures!!! It looks like you had a great time!! Looking forward to hearing all about the wedding!!

LOVE your dress!!! where did you get it (if you don't mind me asking)? Congrats on your engagement & your future Disney wedding!

Thank you for all of your very sweet comments. :lovestruc We worked really hard and were so happy everything worked out.
I actually searched two malls around my house and found nothing. I was really disappointed until my Mom, genius that she is, suggested we try David's Bridal. We went and they had a whole section with bridesmaids dresses and other special occasion dresses. I ended up trying on a few, all which were beautiful, but I choose this one because I thought it had a fun feel while also looking very "Alice" in color and style.
I'm wondering, is it too early to begin a planning journal? We are two years out, but I have been doing so much. What do you all think?

Love your photos. You did a great job and it looks like you had an awesome time!! Congrats!
