I have been to Disney several times because I did the college program, however, I have only eaten at one of their resturants. We are going for a week, and doing the basic dining plan. We are going to pay for two meals out of pocket. This is what we have..

Sat. Dinner Boatwright's at Port Orleans (our hotel, after a 16 hour drive I don't want to have to leave our hotel to eat)

Sun. Dinner at The Crystal Palace

Mon. Dinner at Prime Time Cafe (I don't really want to go, but SO thinks it will be fun)

Tues. Breakfast at Cape May, Dinner at California Grill (I have a baby sitter for that meal)

Wed. Late lunch/early dinner at Yak and Yeti

Thursday- Breakfast at Chef Mickeys, Dinner at Le Cellier

Friday- Lunch at Tutto Italia

So did I pick good places?

Everything looks great!
The ONLY thing I would maybe reconsider is just instead of doing boatwrights when you get in ,just doing the counter service at the hotel instead. I've heard not great things about boatwrights and there's no point in wasting a table service on something less than great ya know?
Everythign looks great though- I love primetime though my hubby is not crazy about it. I also love yak and yeti.
looks like a yummy week!

Sat. Dinner Boatwright's at Port Orleans (our hotel, after a 16 hour drive I don't want to have to leave our hotel to eat) One of three Disney restaurants we wouldn't go back to; our opinion, the food court food is much better and so is the service

Sun. Dinner at The Crystal Palace we've only done breakfast but I read rave reviews

Mon. Dinner at Prime Time Cafe (I don't really want to go, but SO thinks it will be fun) we've not done in years, but we always had good food and a good time in the past

Tues. Breakfast at Cape May, Dinner at California Grill (I have a baby sitter for that meal)did this breakfast in September--great character interaction and good food; never done California Grill

Wed. Late lunch/early dinner at Yak and Yetiour new "must do" every trip...went in September and it was second best meal of trip

Thursday- Breakfast at Chef Mickeysfun time, good food, Dinner at Le Cellier our number one must go to every trip

Friday- Lunch at Tutto Italianever done

Comments in red. I like them all (of those we've done) except Boatwright's.

I've never been to Boatwrights so I can't comment, but we were just at Crystal Palace for dinner in Dec and it was totally not worth it. The food was just ok and the characters spent about 2 seconds each with our kids. A great character dinner was The Garden Grill in Epcot. Characters spent more time with our kids and came around numerous times. I am so over the crazy buffets. We used to love CP, but it really has gone down hill imo. Unless Winnie the Pooh and Friends are a all time favorite for your kids, I would skip this and pick a better one.
Prime Time is fun. Food is ok, atmosphere really makes it. Milkshakes are yummy.

Don't know about Boatwrights, but the rest look great. I've been at almost all and they are definitely worth repeating.

is a long ride, but it's a leisurely boat ride to DTD if you're looking for another place to eat. I can't comment on Boatwrights either. We stay at POFQ and I'd rather spend time trekking to parks than to POR.
