Hi! My daughter went on her MAW trip to WDW in 2010!

Here's my (very personal) take on the food at WDW -- I just don't expect it to be gourmet. The only place we've eaten at that I thought was gourmet level was Jiko (did that many, many years ago, before Elke was even born). That being said, some of the WDW restaurants do have fairly decent food. On your list, the one we really liked was the Tusker House breakfast. They were really good to my daughter (our waiter had a mother battling cancer at the time), and the food was really pretty good (we also thought the lunch was really pretty good too -- it didn't have characters then).

Crystal Palace breakfast was just standard breakfast fare -- can't say there was anything wrong with it. Be prepared to stay for a while if you want to see all the characters. And we did a CRT lunch too. It was nice, but my daughter wasn't feeling too well then, so that kind of affected the quality of the experience for us. But the princesses really tried with her, although she wasn't in the "mood" to interact with characters. The lunch food at CRT was "fine." But you don't go there for the food.

We did breakfast and dinner most nights at GKTW. Plan on spending some time there -- all of my girls loved it, so much that on our WDW trip this coming April, they're giving up time in the parks to go visit GKTW one day.

Hope your trip has many magical moments!

Thank you!

Yes, we have 4 nights planned to have Dinner @ GKTW, and 3 days for Breakfast.

Anyone else?

I'm more wondering about La Hacienda and Raglan Road. I'm assuming breakfast will be pretty similar to what we had at Chef Mickey's a couple years ago.

You have some great places lined up. We have been to and enjoyed: Crystal Palace and Tusker house breakfasts -- both had good variety of foods with some differences between the two restaurants. We had excellent character interaction at both. My children enjoyed the parade at Crystal Palace when they were younger (all teens now), your kids will have a good time. CRT for lunch is great. You just can't beat the princesses and they castle! We were just there in November and everyone enjoyed it.

I haven't been to Raglan Road, but I hear great things about it and it is on my list to visit.

haven't been to La Hacienda either, but I will be going there in February with my sister. Her family loves it. I am really looking forward to it after hearing their reviews of it!

I've heard the Hollywood and Vine breakfast is fun for young children...loud and playful! My kids were all past the playhouse disney age when this meal started, so we haven't been.

It sounds like you have a nice balance between fun child friendly dining experiences and other family dining. I looks like you have planned a great trip! Have fun and enjoy your time at WDW with your family!
