We just returned from 7 days at WDW. We had a blast. Thank goodness it rained almost every afternoon to relieve the heat. Record highs toward the end of the week.
The renovated POC was great (my DD12's fav). Capt Jack looked very real. Everything looked spruced up and very colorful. Really enjoyed it.
Everest was great. Rode it twice in a row with little wait at park opening. Then grabbed fast passes to ride later. Very smooth ride.
Test Track kept breaking down, but we managed to ride it twice. The first day we tried we got fast passes. Came back at our time and it was broken down (car broke an axle). We were told we could use our fast pass all the rest of that day, but it started raining and it was time to leave. We went by and spoke with a CM. They gave us a fast pass to use any time the following day. Very nice.
Loved Soarin'. Did not like that you have to walk all the way into the Land and downstairs to the ride to get a fast pass. Even worse is to walk all that way to find out all the fast passes are gone! Seems they could have a sign or something outside the Land to advise you of that.
It may have been me or the heat, but on our last full day we went to the MK for breakfast at the Crystal Palace (8:05 ADR). The CMs at the gate were just plain nasty. Nobody smiled. They were yelling (truly yelling) at my DD12 as she put her ticket into the machine too soon. And the CMs at the rides were not much better. It was not the "happiest place on Earth" that day.
Ice Station Cool, now Club Cool, was not as fun for us. We loved the snow and severe cold that hit you as you walked in the old place. Several flavors of drink were out and were not replaced the whole week. However, the build your own cup for frozen drinks was very cute and my DD12 loved it.
