It's funny how taking some time away has really made me lose my TR writing motivation! I think it's time to finish this up, don't you?
Before I start, here is a picture of the icestorm in Maine that I mentioned:
I'm not going to list the money spent on the trip, as I said I would. I listed most of the costs throughout the PTR and TR so the info is there. I'm just too lazy at this point and I probably don't want to know the totals!
I'm very pleased with how this trip turned out and there isn't too much that I would change. I wish we'd had more time in Florida as it would have been nice to have another day or two off in between park days to rest up and just relax. But, other than that, it was a very satisfying trip that has provided some great memories for us.
Favorite part of the trip: This is tough. But, I'd have to say the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue topped the list, followed closely by our time at Animal Kingdom Resort and hanging out in Epcot.
Least favorite: Our first night in Orlando when we were trying to leave Magic Kingdom during that awful storm!
The big question is, when will we be going back?
We've been discussing returning the end of next year, but it's still very much up in the air. I do have some ideas of things I want to do at a future date and I'll share those with you now.
* Like to try a cruise at some point.
* Perhaps try camping at Fort Wilderness.
* Next time we will definitely do Sea World (love the idea of hand feeding the dolphins!).
* Next character meal will probably be Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at 1900 Park Faire. I think the mix of characters sounds fun and we'd love to see The Grand Floridian.
* We will definitely stay at Windsor Hills again.
* Spend more time at the World Showcase.
* Now that we've been twice and have done a lot of the regular stuff, I'd like to focus more on the things that most people don't get to. Take time to really enjoy and appreciate the details.
Those are some things I'd like to plan into our next trip, whenever it may be. My parents would love to go back next January, but that's not going to happen (at least not with us!).
If my photopass cd shows up before this thread is closed, I will post some pictures from that even though there really aren't any great ones on it.
I want to thank all of you who posted on this thread for making the days leading up to my trip so fun! Thank you for all of the wonderful comments during my TR as well. Writing this PTR/TR wouldn't have been nearly as fun without you all.
I will continue to check this thread until it is closed in three weeks and reply to any comments. If you're reading this AFTER the thread has been closed, please feel free to PM me as I'd love to hear from others who might find this TR late.
I'll miss chatting with you all
but I know I'll still talk to many of you on your own TRs.

We're thinking about going back Christmas 2009 too, but like you it's too far away to say definitely. Thanks for sharing your trip. Maybe one of these days we'll meet in real life
