This week's podcast one listener asked the question to our esteemed disunplugged podcasters what was their 2020 highlights. I would like to open this for all of us and try to keep it disney-centric. My personal ones would be different of course!
Mine was that the disunplugged kept on going for my own at home entertainment stuck at home which I really appreciated and I was honored to be published as a writing contributor in many articles. I also loved following kevin on twitter and watching them all visit for the first time when wdw reopened. I have been enjoying the moving to orlando groups and social media too as a highlight to fantasize. Happy New Year to all!

I will join you, @disneyworldsk, in thanking the entire Team for keeping the content coming, whether it be through DIS Unplugged, all the other channels, their own channels, YouTube, Twitter, however. It has kept me entertained, informed, and kept me from being alone, in a dark place, for too long SO many times. We all never know who we might impact how, and when.

I will also thank - as always - my fellow posters - living alone, and having moved to a new area a year ago (can't believe it!) where I didn't know anybody, or even where I was except for a general idea, it was wonderful to be able to still connect with people and a place that still felt like 'home". Made me feel not so alone, especially when "life" came a halt a mere 3 months after I moved here, and had just started learning my way around, and making friends "in real life". Because I am high risk, I have not been out of the house - except for walks around the neighborhood, and urgent medical and dental issues, since the beginning of March. Having this place to come to, and al the content to enjoy, has helped IMMENSELY. I am ALONE a LOT, but rarely LONELY, thanks to you all, and the Team.

I'm glad there is some light at the end of this long tunnel, but I am also glad to have been able to be forced to focus, and be grateful for, the light we can all be for each other in times like these. Sometimes you don't know what ya got until ya need it, ya know?

I KNOW what I got in all of you, am SO grateful for it, and hope that someday I might get to meet some of you, and some of the Team - all "friends I just haven't been able to meet yet". (I used to say also - not been ale to HUG yet", but an elbow bump or lusty air hug may have to suffice for quite awhile, daggoneit).

I couldn't agree more with all that's been said. The team still trying to put out content and do their regular line up of shows was so incredibly helpful. It's my little escape and feels like getting a little bit of the outside world and connecting to people besides my kids and husband when participating in the live chats.

My favorite show moment or show in general was probably the May the 4th live stream with Ryno, Craig and Kylie. It was a long few months and my birthday was approaching and I was experiencing COVID fatigue to the extreme. It was so nice to feel like I was hanging out with people that weren't 3 or 7 and yelling in my face demanding a snack.

I'm also thankful that I've felt like I have started some long distanced friendships with Ryno and Tres. Even if it's just a comment on a insta story or whatever, it still has been so helpful to my mental health.

Oh - I'm still in Joisey, @disneyworldsk - just moved from extreme NE NJ to Central NJ, about 2 hours from the general area where I lived for 30-plus years. And MUCH less crowded/crazy/frenetic.

And - gawrsh - I'm blushing. :)
