Eventually we all ended up at the same table….Charming had a double cheeseburger with fries and a Coke, I had a cheeseburger with fries and a Smirnoff Ice, the girls had chicken strips with fries a juice box and milk and someone – oh wait – Charming had a pie of some sort…cost after DDE $29.30 ~cheap!! We did give DQ and Shannon Charming's DDE card to use since their line was 40 times longer than ours. I made sure we got it back!

notice DQ's head attire ~ yes this is 2006 and she is wearing a sequined headband....what would you attribute that to?? I called it stripper motif - she chooses to ignore me, I really think it is meant to be a belt...she had Caesar salad and breadsticks which she loved....but she loves simple foods, what can I say....and German boy had left multiple messages at home at this point. She could not return the call because a) she had no cell phone and b) her "boyfriend" was now with us...the food was food court food...nothing special but definitely great for hangovers, new drunkess or anyone under the age of five.

After dinner we kind of wandered around, not aimlessly mind you....I'm a HUGE sports fan as is Charming so we were enjoying checking out the photos/autographs ~ we have a collection that would rival All Star Sports, sports bars, etc...well only if they have Gator, Bucs, and most all spring training guys! No, really we have a huge collection of junk and I've pretty much got it boxed up in the garage...waiting for our pool to be done so we can build a tiki hut full of sports junk!
Anyway....Brett Favre....let me say I have hated the Packers for most of my life....3 years ago I started playing FF and I got Brett and Ahman Green on my team and thus started watching GBP - we have NFL Sunday Ticket - sweet! Anyway having different players from different teams made me start watching, really watching other teams, coaches and players...and now, well....let's just say - I don't pose next to a photo that often, especially looking like this!(it really helped winning the entire FF league as the only woman!!)

after drooling over Brett for a minute and not finding my ex boyfriend....a Gator now in the NFl ~ Charming was delighted he wasn't featured........Samantha pipes up with "I have to go potty" - Dear Lord....if you are reading this, please start making children and pregnant women with larger bladders....it will great all the way around. Maybe Marky Mark can relay the message?
So I take her potty....well I am not sure how it happened but my sweater had a "belt' if you will, somehow one end ended up in the toilet. The belt ended up in the garbage. So now my nice cover my not so Bad Girl butt sweater is beltless. Great.
Done with the potty......we are all cranky and head back to the room....Shannon, DQ and Samantha play Go Fish, Charming and Haley go right to sleep and me, wanting a little more mind challenge than "fishing" am left alone....

oh, come on, that was like half a report! You are too cool - into sports and all- I just fake it during the play offs... and I would have thrown away the belt also. I used scissors a few times to get the babies out of their onesies and just threw the whole poopy thing away.

so there I lay ~ listened to Charming land airplanes, Haley toss and turn, Samantha not wanting to settle and DQ and Shannon (have I yet to name him?) play a juvenile game.

Why oh why does everyone party poop before I do? I guess that is what I get for marrying an older man.....10 years older I might add....(love ya hun!) Tonight would have been perfect to run over to PI and bump uglies with some sports celebs. I casually mention to DQ that she and I should get dolled up, leave the boys and children here and go over to PI...too bad Shannon was not asleep or we would have left a note. He was not a fan of that idea at all. Had Charming been awake and listening there would have been a definite no as his vote as well.

So I settle in for the night watching old In Living Colors (hence the prior reference) and kick back with a Cosmo (magazine) and some form of alcoholic beverage....not sure what - probably a Mike's as that is what DQ and Company - that's it! That's the name for Shannon, he pretty much is an "and company"......anyway, that's what they were having.

Sleep was not so great this night either....Charming is 6'4" and those small beds just do not seem to accomodate him and I both extremely well. Except those nights we pretend it's day two of our honeymoon (day one we were sooooo exhausted and well...) but that doesn't happen too much at Disney anymore because last time it did....well now we have Haley. So I wake before everyone else as usual....and today is checkout day! We - my foursome = have plans to go to Winter Haven on the way home to check out an Indians spring training game....DQ and Co are going back to MGM.

Charming decides we need to go back since there are several shirts and ESPN paraphelnaila that we did not partake in purchasing....great. So we all head down to the food court. DQ and Co split up from us but we had two adult breakfast platters, Mickey waffles, diet Coke, coffee, crossaint....everything but the kitchen sink. Don't know the price but it was 20% less due to the DDE card....sweet! Also did not take pictures as we wolfed it down!

After breakfast we decided to walk to the "orange and blue" and other school we won't mention helmets and football field. Sorry but I do not see the colors correctly...maybe the sun has faded them or maybe some horrible "other" fan has distorted them....

Looks like a Bills helmet to me.....anyway being the former cheerleaders we are we set up everyone to pose on the icons....

we decide to do a "flip", DQ doesn't know what that is....are you surprised? I am. I have always thought football rules and regs should be part of the tryout process...the NFL I was involved with had a short test on that....!! She amazes me!

Too bad we didn't have a football with us - I did look around to see who I could tackle for one, but thought better of it. Come on people...we have sports people to see and a ballgame at 1pm about an hour from here!

We loaded in our respective vehicles and set off to "race" to MGM.....

Sunday March 5, 2006 ~ Namesake Day ~ Mariah Carey (Bad Girl Diva) divorces Tommy Mottola ~
Bad Girl Affirmation: Tell your mom ~ I'm the bomb!

So we're off....we manage to get to MGM and park next to one another. It was pretty crowded I thought since we had to park rather far back...we chose to ride the tram....remember Charming has a bum knee....

We went in with the intentions of only getting ESPN merchandise remember? So we head over past the hat to some store I have forgotten the name of. This year they did not make any pins whatsoever...bummed about that. Charming got a long sleeve tee and a hat, I got a pink ESPN tee and a hat the girls both got a shirt and onesie and that was that....we hung around a little bit trying to find some stars but we really needed to get on the road to catch the game.

We did catch the street performer....not sure of his name!

There was a real cute lady (well, not as cute as me!) that was done up in "baseball" had huge baseball earrings, high knee socks - somehow I managed not to get a picture!

DQ and Co decided to stay (more on their adventures later!) The rest of us head on out....we hop ont he tram - I think we were the only ones on it...I mean it is a crime to leave a park after only an hour or so isn't it? Anyway....the car is much farther away than I recall....


I always get sad when leaving WDW.....I know we'll be back but what makes it worse is knowing my sister is still there having fun and not being drug to see the Indians play - wait I bought the tickets....so I guess it's my own fault we're leaving so soon!

This is our "mark" it's the first thing we look for as well as the last.....Charming is usually the winner when it comes to spotting it....but I guess that would be natural since he is driving and paying more attention to the surrounding area....while I am usually car dancing, playing Pass the Pig or being fed by Cosmo.....

so traveling down I-4 to go to Winter Haven....I had to take a picture of McDonald's.....

I'll show a little of the game as well as share it with you....I am sure many traveling down to Orlando during spring training might enjoy an off day over at Chain 'O Lakes Park!
We got a tad lost but made it eventually! I have never been to WH from the North only from the South so I wasn't familiar with any land marks or anything....

A little tailgating in the parking lot, which was a huge hike from the stadium...I guess it does pay to be the early bird huh?

I bought 4 tickets - Haley didn't need one but the extra seat always comes in handy....we were under the overhang which was wonderful and had a darn good view....it was close to the restroom and concessions.

Bad Girls are always looking for that next fashion accessory craze and I think Samantha is on to something....the popcorn hat look wil definitely round out 2006!

We had a variety of treats that day....

After a win - we headed out but not without losing some cash first!

These guys were getting a kick out of Samantha posing for pics - they wanted a turn!

We finally got back to the car to head home and I was contemplating Ariel's head to body proportions....look at those feet!

Finally we are on the road home....to tired to even discuss our quickie trip....the girls fall asleep and I am rudely awakened by DQ....seems she had a bucket of pixie dust fall on her head!

DQ and Co had been at MGM all day....they found a spot to rest and it was simply a bench out of the way...but it turned out to be payload! It must have been next to a green room or something of that nature for all the sports celebs that were attending that weekend.

Michelle Kwan came out first, she talked with DQ quite extensively and wanted to know where DQ got her shoes....personally I made fun of them earlier that morning....they were Chinese inspired flats with a teensy weensy heel.....then she met Jerry Rice and the list goes on. I haven't gotten pics from her yet but will post when I do.

She and Co decide to do a show Millionaire I believe - they ended up in the front row...after the show she got pulled up by Hines Ward to get a photo with him and I can't remember who the other guy was....she was not "allowed" to be "on stage" but they did "allow" it. She got autographs from everyone and ended up closing down the park....


I'm not jealous at all.....really.....


so that was our weekend in a nutshell......coming up........more May planning and a super super quickie trip to All Star Music and Blizzard Beach celebrating and Co's birthday!

Thursday April 13, 2006 ~ International Plant Appreciation Day ~ 1963 Pete Rose triples for his first major league base hit...little could he have imagined what was to come. 1980 Grease closes at Broadhurst Theatre after 3,388 performances. That is one of my all time favorite musicals although John Travolta is the yummiest Danny!


Bad Girl Tip ~ Good girls do what's expected....Bad Girls do the unexpected!


So – we’ve been hemming and hawing all week about Easter. Just so happens this year and Co's birthday falls on Easter and all he wants to do is go out to eat at Disney. Lo and behold DQ can’t possible call and plan anything herself….I mean - here we have a young woman who is not presently emplyed calling me while I am at work to see if I would call Disney for dining plans....but she tries to butter me up with the "but you know so much V" ......after going back and forth it's decided that we’ll go to a water park on Sunday and then a late lunch. I am happy with the thought of going back to the World...we sure are making use of the "premium" aspect of these passes...going during blocked times....water parks....free parking.....

I call Disney Dining hoping for some miracle that there will be a table somewhere for a party of 7 on Easter Sunday. The absolutely only thing available for lunch was The Plaza at 2:55pm. What choice did I have – I mean it’s not like we can survive on off property food! Mind you – this is about 9:40pm so I’m sure all the CM’s have had a long day filled with frantic people like me.



I got to thinking and decided that I really don’t want to drive up and back all in the same day. Plus ~ a BIGGIE ~ the water parks have extra magic hours for resort guests…So I get on the computer to check the website out to see if there is a room available. No codes or Florida discounts this weekend and you can’t book online if you are arriving within 5 days. Bummer. So I call WDTC and ask if there are any values available for Saturday night. Nothing. But wait, he says, I do have several moderates and the total for one night would be $195.12 Are you kidding me? I know it’s peak season but geez. That’s highway robbery!


I hang up dejected.


DQ calls me and says try Holiday Inn – WHAT? (I fell out of my chair!) Stay off property? Can’t you get the cooties from doing that? To appease her - I log into AAA and see what off property hotels are available….(notice hotels, not resorts) and there were plenty but they were all $100 or more. If I am paying $100 a night for a room it’s gonna be at Disney.



I am still trying to choke down the idea of $200 for the night when Charming says book it and have them pay half. POR can sleep 5 with a PNP….sounds good right? Well, DQ is between jobs remember? And that would be a $100 I can kiss goodbye! So nah….I go to bed around midnight, still dejected.

Friday April 14, 2006 ~ 1966 Greg Maddux is born....so cute in a geeky pitcher kind of way! Sarah Michelle Gellar is born - quite the Bad Girl in Buffy I hear! (she was Buffy right? I never watched it) 1614 Pocahontas, daughter of Chief Powhatan, marries planter John Rolfe.....a Bad Girl in early history! Quite the scandal! Bye Bye Birdie! opens at Martin Beck Theatre - I was in this ~multiple times and roles (not at this theatre obviously!)!

Bad Girl Affirmation of the day: It's hip and funky looking this damn chunky!


Ahhh, a new morning….what the hell, I call WDTC and ask if there are any Value Resorts available for Saturday night. We know contrary but I am still dreaming or maybe drunk – who knows. WOW – hold the chocolate Easter Bunny, Piper has found two rooms! Still not sure why he said "I have two." One at All Star Music and one at All Star Sports! I spin wildly around several times in my office chair from the excitement. Coworkers don’t bother glancing over anymore. Since we just stayed at All Star Sports in March I opt for All Star Music. Total damage so far for the super quickie trip $129.95…still a lot to pay for one night but much better than $195.12 don’t you think? And since we are paid in full and within the cancellation period….we are a GO people!


I am relieved as now we don’t have to go out to eat after a water park on Sunday. I was worried at how I would transform into my hottie Bad Girl self after spending the day being battered around in a wave pool. I am positive it wouldn’t be a pretty sight. And after posting the question “are there hair dryers at the water parks?” and receiving a few laughs and a big no ~ now I can relax….and quickly find a new swimsuit! The rest of the family is close enough to come over for dinner and drive home!

Now that the room reservation is secured…onto – what else - dining! Well, it certainly is peak season – I called for dinner at Ohana, Chef Mickey, Whispering Canyon, Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern (and just about every other flippin' TS restaurant)– trying to stay near the Magic Kingdom and have somewhere that we could order a cake and celebrate as well. Nothing, nada, zip, zilch, zero, no go! Magic Kingdom is open until midnight and I wanted to be in the vicinity since that is where we’ll end up against my better judgement. There are a few tables for 2 at 9:45 at some places…uh, nope.

Hang up with nothing.


Meanwhile I am trying to get DQ up, she is not answering any phones and yes she finally paid her bill and got her cell phone back. I have no clue where and Co wants to eat but now I know it’s going to be a question of where can we get in, not what you like. I call back – I didn’t try Tony’s last call, nope nothing there. Ok, MGM is open until 10pm how about 50’s Prime Time Café? Ah, 8:45pm…kind of late…but I took it. Now I am thinking I should ditch them and just try a party of 4 at different places. It’s much easier to fit a party of four than seven….
