The parking fee was certainly a hot topic last night in the water taxi DH and I were taking from HRH to CityWalk. Three men were loudly complaining about being charged to park in a hotel where you were paying to stay. They were arguing about other places where they were charged to park, including the casinos at Atlantic City. My DH complained to me several times during our stay about the parking charge as well. I guess it bothers the men more than the women.
However, I must say we left the resort briefly yesterday afternoon and when we returned, we could not find a parking space in the self-parking lot. We decided not to circle and went to the valet. Because there was no self parking, they valet parked our car for no additional charge (they offered, we did not mention being unable to find a spot). When we left this morning, we found out they had to park our car in another resort parking lot. I thought it was very nice of them to make this offer. I have been to several restaurants where in a similar situation, they did not do the same.
