So I am looking for any advise as my family is heading to WDW in Late April, included in the trip is a 4 yr old, a 8 month old and two grandparents. The Grandparents are WDW vet's, but have not been there in 5 yrs. After reading SOOOOO much stuff it is overwhelming. But our schedule looks like this please chime in with feedback as to what looks good or not.

April 20- Arrive in MCO 930am, check in at All-star Movie resort, lunch and waterpark
21st- MK (lunch with Cinderella)
22- Epcot
23- Breakfast w/ Mickey then AK
24- MGM and MK
25-Waterpark/Epcot (dinner w/o kids) Dtown Disney
26- MGM/AK Depart for MCO for 730pm flight.

What would you change?

:dance3:

get park hoppers.

Sunday April 20 is late night for the Mk - it closes at 11pm - that night it will close at 2am for resort guests.

yea I know little kids. I happen to love EMH and try to do my stays with them in mind.

So I go to any of the other parks that morning - go back to resort around lunch time - swim, nap, just relax, then that evening go to the park that has EMH.

here is a schedule for April

with little kids you must kept in mind their bed times.

I have been going to WDW every year for the past 24 years. I have personally found that AK does not deserve a full day. There may be tons of different paths to follow, but they don't lead up to much. Kilaminjaro Safari is a good ride, the Bug's Life show is great, Lion King is also great. I'm just saying don't count on a whoole day being spent there. Instead, you may want to split it with MK and give MGM it's own day. I think the shows at MGM are wonderful!!! This is just my opinion from past experiences. It does seem like you are purchasing the Park Hopper, from looking at your schedule, so you don't necessarily have to write anything in stone... I wouldn't worry so much about your schedule, just have fun and see what you want to see!!

Hope you have a blast!!!

Oh, I also forgot to mention...if your children love stuffed animals, as all do when they go into the souvenir shops, try to get to a Walmart. They sell Disney merchandise for a much cheaper price than the souvenir shops. So bring them there and let them pick out a stuffed animal that they can keep with them throughout the trip. Make sure you bring it with them to to the parks because if they don't have it, they'll want another one as soon as they see it...just a little something my mom used to do with me, my sis, and brother.
