I've always wanted to, but none of my friends have one. I'd love to see what would happen.

I would probably end up pushing the piece around and freak out my friends. I'd spell out messages like "I'm coming for you (name)". I'm THAT kind of friend.

It creeped me out. REALLY creeped me out.

You couldn't pay me to use one of those again.

They could be sub-conscious, but usually they work with spirits.
I have one, but I don't play it.
If your not careful you could contact the wrong spirits.

My mom bought my sister & I one for Christmas a few yrs ago but my dad made her return it!!!! lol
My dad didn't want one in his house.

I've played one a few times though, it's pretty creepy, but obviously it's not ghosts!!
It COULD be subconcious, but I think it's just the weight of everyones fingers on the board that push the thingy around.
When I've played it before I don't feel like I'm moving it around, but I probably am not on purpose.

They are really creepy, but fun to play.
(except if you play it in your basement and your friend asks if there are any evil spirits in this house!! )

oh they work.

believe them to either be spirits or your friends though, that ones up to you. just be careful to always say "good bye" when you close it. :]

unclear usually isnt a good thing. a misunderstanding or a deliberate refusal? but i dont think youve got much to worry about with something over the internet. unless of course you believe in online spirits.

saying goodbye is closing the door. if you dont close the door anything can walk through it. its just like...inviting guests over to your house. you dont just stop talking to them and go on like you would on an everday bases would you? no. you tell them goodbye, you see them out, and then you shut the door. if you didnt, it could cause problems.

thats why some people take ouja boards as a joke. as "oh, its just my friend scaring me" and half the time, yeah it is. but sometimes it isnt. saying goodbye and closing the door is like wearing your seatbelt. its safety.

There are some really creepy stories in there.

I know most of you don't believe in it, or think it's your subconcious, and I don't blame you.
If it hadn't happened to me, I wouldn't have believed it, either.

I don't wanna go into detail of what happened, but for a month straight me and my friend became OBSESSED with it. As in, the second we came home from school, we rushed to her house to use it, and really scary things happened.
And from the CB thread about it, a recurrent theme in the stories of the people who believe in it is the obsession that happens with it.

Anyway, I'd never use it again, or be around anyone while they're using it.

i read this thread last night and got really interested. i did some research on google.

i mostly read that people who started using them, eventualy got addicted and started using it alot. but this one man said, its lik playing russian roulette. eventually youll get a bad spirit...


people who get bad spirits eventually go insane. they feel like someones always watching them, they wake up in the middle of the night and feel like theres people in the room.

one man would wake up screaming, and his wife could not figure out what was wrong with him...
