Paid the balance of the holiday today - asked the guy to tell me the amount really quickly so it wouldn't sound so much

Oh well, it's all paid now so all we have to do is wait for the tickets

Our ouch was last Saturday when we changed our 2 week Mediterranean cruise on Oceana to a one week cruise on Regent Seven Seas Voyager and had to pay more for the one week (plus two nights in Athens) than the two weeks were costing us

The difference between 4* and 6* doesn't come cheap - as I keep telling DH

I think the bank will be happy when next months CC bill is paid, since as well as this cruise, I also have DD2's new engine on there.....oooops.

Off to the Buliding Society tomorrow to get the cheque to pay the balance of our holiday, on the plus side only76 sleeps to go. Some dollars already cashed up just the travellers cheques to go.

Fingers crossed for good rates between now and mid Sept.

Also had an ouch moment today - had to phone up to pay the balance of our Western Caribbean Cruise (Royal Caribbean, Mariner-of-the-Seas from Port Canaveral) for October... that was a fairly big ouch.

Still, have already paid of all the flights (that was a big ouch too) and the pre-departure hotel and parking.

Just got the balance for the Orlando villa and the car hire to go...

Although the sad/embarrassing thing is that we will also start paying for the next holiday... We go skiing in January/February and if we buy our lift tickets before 16th August, we get a much better rate...
