Help.....
I have a splinter UNDER my fingernail...
How do I get it out??? Without cutting my nail apart???

any suggestions...please... it Hurts!!

try putting some woodglue on it and let it dry (hairdryer) . It may pull out after.

This just happened to me a few weeks ago. I can feel your pain. I took mine out with a tweezer but the splinter broke in my nail while I was pulling it out. I then did have to cut my nail down to get the rest of the splinter out. I don't know how far down your splinter is but cutting my nail down hurt a lot less than the splinter. Good luck!

I used to get those a lot-- OUCH! I'm cringing just remembering. I used to just pick them out with tweezers, but it really depends on whether you can access it that way. Try the glue; that may work.

I've never heard of the glue method before.

I always just use a pair of tweezers. Splinters are really painful so good luck getting it out quickly.

It was too far up under my nail... couldn't get the splinter out with a Tweaser or close enough to it for Glue.. DH ended up making a slice in my nail and then got it out with a pin.. Hurt like (you know what) but now that it is out it hurts alot less.. only a tiny bit sore if you push on it...

Splinter under the nail can get nasty, not to mention how bad it hurts. Whatever is on the splinter is now tucked under the nail where it can't get any air or get cleaned out. Yowsa! You probably need to go to the doctor.
