Before anyone starts, I did call my doctor's office but according to the recording they are "in a staff meeting" until 1:00.
I was opening the door to let my dogs outside and as my dogs rushed the door it slammed into 2 of my toes and they kinda got wedged under. Both are pretty swollen and one is starting to bruise pretty bad (on the tip and just under the nail). It's very painful to touch but not too bad to walk on. I'm thinking there is nothing that can be done and don't want to waste a day at the ER. Other then icing is there anything else that I should do?

In addition to ice take an anti-inflammatory (or seven
). Your doctor will probably want to see you, especially if you did damage to the nail (my friend did this and lost the nail). You poor thing!!!!

!!! The attack of the shopping cart!!!! You can still tell the difference, those 3 toes are a little larger than the ones on my other foot! Hope your toes feel better soon... take you some good pain reliever
