Ouch, did i realy do this???

We added on at AKV just before they announced BLT about 18 months ago. I have been kicking myself ever since. I realy wanted BLT. So last month we decided to list our original AKV 160pts for sale to buy BLT. Our contract sold at $88/pt. After commision and estopel fees we neted $78.76/pt. I bought my long awaited BLT contract 3 days ago for $115/pt. Thats an increase of $36.24. I will not sign the new contract until after the webcast next week, I am hoping to do better. If not I wil still keep the new contract. Like they say, buy where you want to stay. The icing on the cake was not only was it a steep price increase, but now we can't even get a resie there for our upcomming 2/10 trip (we are at VWL). I would have loved to watch the superbowl from TTOTWL.

I think you need some extra pixie dust to cover a great deal on the webcast and to have a ressie open at BLT in February.

You're not alone. We're in the same shape...we've been selling our initial contracts to change our UY from Feb to Aug. Very expensive! We sold our first two small contracts for what we paid for them so we were out commission, but turned around and bought VGC for a much higher price.

Now I'm kicking myself for not selling our last 100 pt SSR contract with the others as the price has dropped so much.

The sad part is I still want more VGC points.

Thanks for the dust, I hope it works. We have watlists at standard and lakeview studios. I think they will be most likely to become available. If not I am sure we will enjoy VWL.

I hear you. I want more BLT points. But I am sure if I wait the hype out I will be able to pick points up at resale in about 2 years for around $95.
