Others take advantage of DVC Discounts

Has anyone let another member of your party use a DVC discount during your stay together at WDW? My sister-in-law and her husband would like to get the couples massage advertised in the latest DVC Member Update but I am not surre if this is allowed or possible. Would they only need to use my card, or would they actually have to act as me? Also, will they get the same free valet parking privleges at BWV when we stay together, or will they need to pay?

I don't know about the valet, as OKW doesn't offer that service. Friends that stayed with me last June got massage discounts at SSR and Dive Quest discounts at EPCOT.

If they are staying WITH you in a DVC Villa on points, I believe they are entitled to valet parking since they are party of YOUR party (as opposed to renting points). This is my interpretation. We are staying in a two-bedroom next week and bringing my parents along. I fully intend for all of us to use the valet parking perk no matter who is driving the rental van that day.

I vaguely recall our guide mentioning something about guests staying with us would be able to get the spa discounts. I may be incorrect but I believe that if you have friends staying on your points and you are not there though they would not be entitled. I know they can't get the free movie rentals.
