Others staying DVC for GayDays?

My partner and I will be staying at OKW from 6/1 to 6/7. Just wondered who else will be at OKW or one of the other DVC's during GayDay's. Maybe those of us at OKW could meet at the Gurgling Suitcase one evening for a few drinks.

We'll be at OKW from May 30-June 2, not long enough to enjoy the festivities, but maybe for a drink! Maybe June 1st?

We are visiting some of my family for a few days before we check in on the first, so I know we'll be ready for a drink that nite! Of course we have to see Illuminations that first evening, so we'll will be over sippin' on a Turtle Crawl as soon as the Disney Bus drops us off! Any other DVC folks wanna' join us that Tuesday night for a cold one?

My friend Mike and I will be at Port Orleans June 4-7. I'm using almost all of my 250pts from this year and next for a family vaca at BWV next Feb. We haven't been to G-Days before. Looks like it will be fun.

Hope to see you there! We HAD reservations but had to let them drop... I wasn't sure we coudl travel. Now we CAN travel and I am calling Member Services daily, trying to get a room. OKW is the most likely to have space open up. If we get in, I will look for DVC'ers that evening! I always have my lime green Mickey Ears on and my hubby mocks me for "never meeting anyone." Won't he be surprised if I meet a whole crowd of DIS'ers!!!

Actually, there is a "Cocktail Meeting" scheduled for saturday June 5 at 7pm by a bunch of us on the gayday.com boards. We'll be there with two other couples (one of the couples is DVC also here from Chicago) and I think there are about 20 total who said they will show. We won't be arriving until the 3rd, so sorry we're gonna miss you then. But hopefully we'll see lots of you on the 5th!

Of course if you want to meet for a pre-cocktail cocktail party, there's one at the Tambu Lounge at the Poly after the afternoon parade.

I'm a bartender so these kind of small meetings are much more preferable than just going to PI!

Did I mention it will also be our honeymoon?
