Im not having a Disney wedding and just wondered if anyone knows any good wedding sites that I can visit that might have a forum as Im thinking others have the same questions as me..

I was very active on the Knot for a long time- until I couldn't log in on my computer for whatever reason. While most Knotties are wonderfully helpful, some are just Snotties. You may want to lurk for a little bit so that you don't walk into a gauntlet. The Planning and Etiquette board was always the worst. I stayed on the Military Brides, Honeymoon, and Reception/Ceremony Ideas board and usually found no problems. www.theknot.com

Although I haven't been active on the Wedding Channel boards, I have heard they are fairly good from a few friends. The Wedding Channel has a lot of information available- and I always found it easier to navigate than the Knot. I especially loved their checklists! www.theweddingchannel.com

I really liked weddingchannel.com and found them very helpful. The checklists on there are really good, no matter what kind of wedding you're having. I tried theknot.com but I was not happy with their website. It took forever to load and the girls on the boards were not very nice at all. I ordered some stationary from theknot.com and they never sent it to me. I was waiting and waiting for the charge to go through and finally e-mailed customer service to be told that what I ordered was no longer available, but they never contacted me to tell me that, I had to finally contact them. That's just poor customer service, IMO. bridesave.com is good too, for dresses and accessories ideas and they have some good informative articles.

Good luck!

I'd have to agree about theknot, I go there for information but some of those girls are just cruel and I find a lot of the forums filled with nothing to do with the forum topic and lots of "inside jokes" the tv annoys me too as well as the slow load times and errors.

onewed.com is another site with forums that I just found - haven't had much time to look yet.

There is a link to get rid of the TV... I used to have it. That was one of the main reasons I left. I think you will find you get the information you need suggestions you want when you pose the question. Well- it may not be what you want to hear. Beyond that, I think most people are bored and just chatting back and forth- the beauty of PMs on this board.

Thanks for the sites.. I will definitely check them out and see what I can find.. I have generic questions and I figure they are the same questions as others have so they're not out of the ordinary and maybe I can find the answers there..

Well, I just joined, so apparently I can't post a website address...but if you click on my name and visit my homepage, you'll be sent directly to a great site, IMO anyway :)
