Can anyone recommend other restaurant in the Disney area? I have some favorite Disney restaurants, but I don't care to pay for the inflated prices all week. Any suggestions?
Perkins, Olive Garden, Qdoba, CiCi Pizza, Fudruckers, Taco Bell, IHop, Bahama Breeze, Steak n Shake. THere is just about any type of restaraunt imaginable around Disney. It all depends on what you want to eat.
I'd recommend Joes Crab shack if you like seafood - in Kissimee. You can check out menu online. It has a fun vibe and the seafood pots filled with crab and sausage are good.

I ordered pizzas and salads from Flippers tonight and my group thinks I'm a hero. They delivered it hot and it was all very good. It got raves from my family.
If you want to do something a little "different" and avoid the usual chains (and it's great if you are okay with them), Celebrations has a neat little town center area with a great diner that we all really enjoyed. We also liked the small Italian restaurant there with the brick oven inside. Great food if you like Italian, although I wish I could remember the name. If you do an internet search on Disney's Celebration Restaurants, they will all come up. Celebration is easy to get to, not congested, with ample parking.
I also like Bahama Breeze but sometimes the place is a crowded nightmare and getting in and out can be challenging if you are at Disney during the peak times of year.
