Anyone know of hotel discounts or deals for our overnight stay on the way down? We are there less than 10 hours and I hate to pay insane prices...........

Well, not sure where you want to stop, but we're stopping in northern GA at a Holiday Inn Express and paying $68 before tax. That's for 2 queen beds, high-speed net (DH likes to check his email) and free breakfast the next morning, and it's right off I-75...not too bad. You could also try www.roomsavers.com to find a deal. Never tried them ourselves because we drive till pretty late and don't want to take a chance that we won't find a room...Good Luck!

We are in the same boat, Local Girl, we drive until very late so we want to have ressies waiting for us. We are coming from Cincinnati, down 75. Last time, we made it to Valdosta, but I'm not sure we'll make it that far this time! But, $68 is not a bad deal at all - where is that located??
