I know our main hobby is Disney, but what are some of the other things you enjoy?

I am a reader - anything and everything, including the back of the cereal box at breakfast when I was a child. Always have been, always will be.

I am absolutely addicted to needlepoint. Christmas ornaments and stockings, pillows for my home, a firescreen in my living room, belts for my DDs, even a rug for my sun porch. I love to needlepoint - it's my artistic outlet, my meditation, and my productive free-time user all in one.

I'm a scrapbooker!!!!!!!! I love to read too, but I don't get the chance to as much as I'd like!

Also a scrapbooker here. I do the occasional cross-stitch, and I love puzzle books -- dh, ds and I do them together; it's fun family time!

Also love to design and sew clothing, accessories and home decor stuff. Love designing and art, period!

Enjoy woodworking (smaller pieces--require assistance with large stuff), music (play flute, rather badly these days--limited practice time), making greeting cards (tried scrapbooking, but can't get into it) and sometimes just kicking back and doing nothing!

Of course, on top of a 60 to 80 hour work week, the time available for hobbies is quite limited! Someday... !

I'm another reader! It's the easiest thing for me to do with my kids, I can just lay my book aside to care for them, then pick it back up.

I'm getting ready to try my hand at scrapbooking. It looks like alot of fun, but I'm still a little overwhelmed, trying to figure out where to start.

I also garden (flowers).

My hobby is decorative painting. I love to find items and thrift stores and give them a new life with a new coat of paint and some painted roses.

I love to quilt. Perhaps I should say I love to collect fabric and periodically put it into a quilt. I have numerous projects going at any one time (in various stages of completion) and once in a great while I actually finish one.

It is a great group activity (I go to quilt group on Friday evenings), a fun reason to travel (quilt camp and quilt tours) and it is also a fun solitary activity.

Read to the children in my care at my "career of choice " (see there is a reason I buy toys, children's books, puppets.. there for the the children to use .. It makes my "career of choice" better.. it's for the children.. really honey.. really it is .. too bad they can't pay me more.. hmm. then I can buy MORE books and toys ....hahahhahha.... ).

Travel 3 hrs by plane, stay one WEEK, to attend one DAY at an early childhood education conference to enhance my skills in my "career of choice" (conference conveniently located next door to Disneyland).


Couponer - bargain hunter- love to shop .. even the dreaded GROCERY shopping- eeek!!!

I am always reading too....I so remember reading cereal boxes as a kid, its funny that you said that!
I LOVE to take pictures and scrapbook. Anyone out there who said they are thinking about scrapbooking, stop thinking just jump in and start and figure out your direction once you are hooked!
I dabble in so many other craft things, less as my kids get busier but my shelves are full of projects. I have been teaching myself how to quilt, I sew, make cards, do some painting, home decorating projects....so many things, so little time!

Photography -- actually majored in this for 2 semesters
Movies -- because that's what my dh likes to do, so I join him!
Singing (dare I say a bit of bad Karaoke even!)
Going to the Gym -- and here's one in direct conflict with that...
