OT: Zhu Zhu pets

Ok...my DD has been bugging me constantly for these little hamster toys since she saw the commercial a week ago. We can't find them anywhere though! We checkedthe Fab3 (Walmart, Target, TRUS) with no luck. Has anyone seen these things in a store yet?

We have a thread goign on the budget board right now. These are on amazon if you are willing to pay 3 to 4x their regular cost. I just preordered on Toys R Us for a end of November delivery. They tested these creatures in the southwest I believe and are available only in certain areas right now. They should spread out over the upcoming weeks, but they are building a frenzy with these commercials. We will see how hard they are to get as the holidays get closer.
Try go go pets in the search engine of the sites, that will pull them up on target's and TRU sites.

They should be coming to stores soon!
Their website...zhuzhupets.com... says they are having a major release in September.
Should be any day now...

I saw these at our local Cracker Barrell restaurant gift shop this weekend. At least it was a hamster in a wheel and another one inside a ball.

Awesome! I guess we were just looking too early. Those commercials come out and the kids want want want! I will call Toys R Us today to see when they are coming here. My DD has a one track mind when she sees something she thinks she has to have right away. It doesn't happen often, but when it does...oh boy! She has really been into Littlest Pets fir a few years. Guess it's time for a change. At least the Zhu Zhu pets don't have a million little pieces to get all over the place...just large ones. Yeah!!!

You should check out the thread on the budget board. Some moms have already found them at their local TRUs. (I went by ours over the weekend and they were sold out, but expected another shipment soon.)

Many of the Moms have said do not pay in inflated prices because the toys are not that great of quality. I guess they tend to get stuck in the tracks or don't work exactly perfectly.
