We are going to spend my son's 3rd birthday in December at a Wisconsin Dells indoor waterpark. We are debating between The Wilderness and Great Wolf Lodge. Anyone have suggestions?
I know The Wilderness is pretty spread out. Do we need to walk in the cold, snowy Wisconsin weather to get to the waterparks?
How are the kiddie/toddler areas at each of the waterparks? We did Great Wolf in Michigan and my son loved it, but we are willing to try new things. He is not hugely adventurous and hates the whole "huge bucket is going to dump on everyone" thing, but does love pools and small slides.
We are probably only going to go one day/night and then stay for most of the day the next day, so boredom probably won't be a factor.
Also, Great Wolf Lodge is about $50 more than the Wilderness. Is it worth it?
Thanks for any help!
