My hubby and I have decided to have a 3rd baby :cool1:, but with 2 trips already planned, we are trying to figure out when.

We are going to WDW for Thanksgiving and HHI next July. So we could be preggers for one of those trips. Ideally, I would like to be preggers for WDW and have the baby next summer, but then we might have to cancel the HHI trip....

If we wait until after our WDW trip to get preggers, then I would be major preggers for HHI. If we get preggers soon, then I would have a newborn on our HHI trip, which poses all other kinds of issues!

Someone help me, my head is going to explode! BTW, we got preggers with IUI with both of our kids now, so yes it is very planned!

Am I the only one who doesn't know where HHI is? Sorry! :)

OP - I have been pregnant many times at Disney and it has never reallly hendered our trips, a few extra breaks was all that changed for us. I would see no problem in being pregnant at either HHI or WDW, but if I had a choice of where to take a newborn or infant it would be WDW. I took all three of our boys when they were 6 months or less and it was no trouble at all. In fact given a choice between an infant or a toddler I would take the infant every time.

I spent Labor Day week-end at Myrtle Beach when I was 36 weeks pregnant with DS#2 it was wonderful. I would not of wanted to take a newborn though.

Good luck with baby #3 whatever you decide.

Thanks! I was pregnant with ds at WDW and have taken both kids when they were 8-9 months.

I'm one of those people that once I decide on something, I want to move forward right now:lmao: So if we get pregnant before our Thanksgiving trip, then I would be due May-ish. Our trip is booked for HHI thru my sister's timeshare for July 8-15 next year, so the baby would be pretty young by then.

There is NO WAY I could do Disney pregnant. But I have hyperemesis. Even without that, the swelling, constant pee breaks, tiring more easily, and not being able to ride many of the rides would make it less fun, IMO.

I wouldn't have a problem traveling with a newborn. (I think newborns are way easier than toddlers or preschoolers.) I wouldn't want to go to the beach in the middle of summer with one though.

Honestly, either :) We take our newborns to the beach all the time. And, it a condo, that is sooooo easy. THink of the lovely naps snuggled up with a baby, or you getting to put your feet up pregnant. WDW would be fine for me, I have easy pregnancies and babies... so... go for it :) is my vote :)

WDW hands down. Mainly because I love WDW and have no desire to relax on a beach.;) I have been to WDW many times while pregnant. I still had a ball! HHI after the baby is born sounds more relaxing to me. JMHO.

I would go to WDW preggers. I just came back and found it easy. There are only a few rides that you cannot go on and I wouldn't want to be very pregnant at HHI in the summer. JMO

My personal experience: if I had a choice I would not choose to be pg. in the summer in SC. Too hot!!!!

However, a baby at HHI would be pretty easy to cart around and still enjoy everything the island has to offer.

Good luck!

Honestly, I'd be a little worried about a 2 month old (maybe a little younger) at the beach in July. It really depends on what you plan on doing, but I'd be worried to have the little one out in the heat. I really dislike being pregnant, so I can't say which I'd rather be pregnant at, but I'd be a little concerned about taking a baby that young to the beach in July.

A beach trip with a newborn is easy. My goodness they sleep all the time. YOu just need to prepare, get a canopy for them to stay under. I think either would be fine. I took DD to the beach for Memorial day when she was 7 weeks and it was so easy. We just kept her under the canopy all day. When she was a little older, we got the Bumbo and she sat in that under the canopy.

Edited to add: I was also 8 months pregnant on the beach and that is no big deal either. I would definitely not want to be 8 months pregnant at WDW though! But a few months or in the 2nd trimester, probably wouldn't be a big deal.

I would not want to go to WDW during the first trimester of a pregnancy. I did it once and never again. I was god awful sick the whole time and from the moment I got up I could not wait to go back to bed. The trip was planned last minute and before we knew I was pregnant. Found out a few days before we left and got sick the day after we arrived. However, if you are not prone to sickness maybe it would be fine.....
