OT ~ What wine goes with pain killers?

heeheehee....just joking. However, I've been so sick with a virus lately that I could use a little pain relief or a glass of chilled sweet white wine.

dd and I went to Sick Kids last week for her cardiac appt. I think I must have picked up something there. My entire head and every tube in it is blocked. My stomach is popping and whistling. I feel like dirt.

I can't lie down because I'll drown in nose fluid. I can't stand up because I get dizzy. Sitting is sooooooo boring. I tried to read, but I have brain fog.

So yucky.

PS: ADVICE: Invest in Kneenex.

Hi Sandra, it's been a while since we said hi Sorry you are feeling bad, hope you feel better by Christmas How is your dd doing? I have had problems with my back over the last month, and must admit that I've chosen the wine over the pain meds on a couple of nights .I prefer a nice glass of shiraz in the evening, but by morning I'm wishing I had taken the meds

Funny about the wine thing......I never liked it until about a year ago. I come from an Irish-Canadian family.....that means we are suppose to hold our liquor and carry a tune. However, after many years of thinking they can hold their liquor, half my family is now in AA. So I never really drank .....I saw the damage it can cause. After years and years of not drinking..... I had a glass of wine last year. It was yummy. I only have one or two glasses, because I come from the long line of fire-water abusers and I don't have time for the meetings if I joined them. haha!

It's nice to hear from so many folks who I haven't heard from in a while. I do think of you all fondly and often!
