OT: What do YOU do with your wii?!?!

I don't get to play as much as I'd like, and I've only used my Wii Fit a few times. Got to get back to that.

I'd add Boom Blocks to the list. It looks really simple and boring from the get go, but once I started playing, it's totally addicting (although I could easily get a Wii injury on this one, like tennis elbow or carpal tunnel!!). It's throwing a ball at different piles of blocks to knock them over or pop them, or pulling one log out of a stack, etc. It's a LOT harder than it looks!! It was apparently designed by Steven Spielberg. Recommended to me when I asked at Blockbuster Video.

The other one I wind up playing a lot with my 5 yr old, but then keep playing after he's gone to bed, is Lego Star Wars. I have to have my laptop beside me to read up on each level and how to go through it, but again, it's really addictive, and lets face it, totally cute!!! And a good stress reliever, because the whole point of the game is to shoot everything in sight!!!

I really don't know much about the WII system but it sounds very interesting!
I am going to have to look into it more...I can see myself having a lot of fun with this....;)

we like the wii fit (when I remember to go on it...lol)

Also the brain academy.

Is the Brain Academy fun?

I saw some game over the weekend that was left brain / right brain stuff for the ds - we're getting mil a ds for Christmas but then I couldn't decide if she'd be offended. :rotfl2:

competitive....he was upset that I was fantastic in the memory stuff...so, every night, he would try and beat my score...too funny!

I know my nephews (in their teens), borrowed it, and liked it as well.

I love playing Ferrari Challenge and NHL2K9 I hope EA comes out with a great NHL game for next season. We also use Wii Fit and Dance Dance revolution. We love Mario Kart and Super Smash brothers Brawl. Those are just a few of our games the adults play in our house.

Some of you may find this announced game for the Wii interesting.

I just bought our Wii for Christmas :thumbsup2 They were on sale at Toys R Us (save a whopping 20 bucks, but figured that I better get it before they disappear!). It came with the Wii sports pkg too. I also think it was Wii Play (I don't know the names of the 'stuff' just yet!!). My dd's don't really know anything about the Wii, but figured it would be a good family gift that all four of us can use ... I will gradually pick up some games before Christmas ... then we'll have a week of playing video games!!! LOL

My dd plays hockey (she is 7) ... would the hockey one be hard for her? Would it be interesting? Why don't they make a girls version??? :)

What would be good for the little ones?? My girls are 7 and 5 ... my big kid is 41:laughing: ... he'll be thrilled with the princess games:rotfl2:

My kids loved the "Cars" game, and are getting through "Maternationals" now.
Tiger Woods Golf 2008 actually got DW to go to take golf lessons this summer!
And then she bought 2009.
The battle begins again. :lmao:
Also like Wii Fit and WiiSki.

Hi,
Where have you been able to find NHL2K9? And, is that better than the other NHL 2009 game? DH used to be a goalie, and I know I read some where that one game was better than the other, goalie play wise. TIA! :)
