my banked points? I just booked my March 2009 vacation and I will have 14 banked points left that will expire in July 31, 2009. I asked the MS person and was told I cannot transfer these points to another member. I can only make a reservation with these points for them? Is that the right info?

Yes, that is correct. Banked points may not be transferred. The only way to use them would be to make a reservation with them - you could rent the reservation or use it yourself.

Have you considered extending your March vacation? Or upgrading to larger accommodations?

I am seriously considerating that because 14 points will mean 1 night in a studio somewhere. Thanks for your quick response.

Depending on your travel plans, add a day to the beginning or end of your trip with the 14 points. Then you have a "day room" when you arrive (if you plan to arrive early in the day) or on your last day (if you plan to travel late).

We book an extra night at the end of the trip when taking a redeye from HI. Much easier to have a room for the day before leaving late for the airport. It may spoil you, however. -- Suzanne
