Our "Disney souvenir" will be here next month and we are stumped on a middle name! HELP!!! Her first name will be Eva.:lovestruc Any suggestions?

TIA

Lillian
Grace
Rose

Are there any family names you could use?

You could use the name of one of the Disney princesses, like Belle, or jasmine, or Walt Disney's wife's name Lily, or the name of a character. Personally, I think it would be a wonderful tribute to the place of her conception, but still subtle. And still a beautiful, appropriate name.

Love Belle as a middle name...I actually call my daughter Belle (even though her name is Gianna LOL). I also like the idea of referring to the hotel where you were staying in a subtle way. Ron Howard (the actor) gave each of his kids a middle name of the city where they were conceived. All of Howard's four children are named after the places they were conceived: Bryce Dallas in Dallas, Texas, Paige Carlyle and Jocelyn Carlyle at the Hotel Carlyle in New York City, and Reed Cross after a specific road.

ITA. Pick your favorite Disney movie/song/cartoon and choose a name from it that goes with Eva. Middle names are fun--the sky's the limit!

You have to do a character name. I agree with the suggestions for Princesses. Eva Belle sounds lovely!

I really like Lilly. There was a time when I thought having a "Disney Souvenir" would be so neat and if I did so, I would have named her Lilly if it was a girl. Like the other poster said, it would be like a tribute to Walt, too. I, unfortunately, never had a "Disney Souvenir" or a daughter of my own to name.

We are having a Souvenir too, but we are using family names like the rest of the kiddos LOL...... good luck with your name hunt :)

I love the name Eva Rose and it is kind of like Briar Rose (Sleeping Beauty):thumbsup2

I can't imagine being in middle school and having to explain to people that my middle name was in honor of a place my parents had sex.

A middle name like "Lily" or "Belle" is fine because you don't have to explain it, but Dallas in inevitably going to lead to "Why Dallas?" a question no child is going to want to answer.

OP Eva is lovely! I'd go with a family name if you have a good one available otherwise I'd pick something long to balance out Eva such as:

Eva Josephine
Eva Caroline

Good luck!

My first thought was Grace but I have to admit that I really like Belle.....Good Luck!

I don't have any specific suggestions, but would either go with a one-syllable or a three-syllable middle name if it was me. I think Eva is lovely. :)

lily...this is a wonderful idea

I like Eva Arielle-- it's just princess-y enough but no so much that she'll constantly be explaining it.

Well, you could go with Darling or Banks and tell people that it is a family name.

They are ... The Darling Family in Peter Pan, and the Banks Family in Mary Poppins.

There is also Sidney (or Sydney), spelled with an I it is an anagram of Disney.

How about:

Eva Disney
Eva Disneyana
Eva Disneyanna
Eva Eliasa (Elias - Walt's middle name)
Eva Lillian
Eva Lilliana

I could go on an on.......

if you want disney:
Eva Anastasia
Eva Esmeralda
Eva Rosetta
Eva Lillian

other suggestions:
Eva Isabella
Eva Katherine
Eva Susannah
Eva Leanna
Eva Emery
