We live in southeast Louisiana and are still feeling the stress and affects of the recent hurricanes. We were lucky enough to get away the first week of December and stay at Hard Rock and Wilderness Lodge. It was wonderful. We were especially thankful for the flowers and trees. We lost every tree in our yard..our house is fine. Anyway, we need another break. We have small camper but most campgrounds have diaster relief people staying in them. Because of make up days, we have only two days for Mardi Gras (and it is storming right now!) and two days for Easter.
So....any ideas or places that we can get to in a couple of hours? We have never gone to Orlando with the kids in the heat and crowds of summer. We are afraid we won't have the magical feeling we have had during October, early December and late February.
