We just checked with Norad one last time and Santa has entered US air space
, so it is down to the wire time. He is on the East Coast right now. Go see for your self http://www.noradsanta.org/index.php The kids are trying so hard to fall asleep
Waiting is a bit hard on Mom and Dad. We didn't get much sleep last night and are both trying hard to stay awake. I may have to set my alarm for 3am just in case.
So I can't be the only one waiting for kids to fall asleep... how do you pass the time?

We watched Norad too. When Santa was in Canada and the report said he'd be heading to Florida next I showed our 5 1/2 year old and told him he must go to bed then because after Florida, Santa would come to GA. He was too excited to get to sleep. I finally laid down with him in my bed and promptly fell asleep myself.
I woke up when our 3 year old, who fell asleep watching Christmas specials at about 7:45, woke up from what he figured was a nap. I finally got him back down and am just killing time till I'm sure it's safe and everyone is good and asleep. With my luck, our oldest will be up at 4 am to try to "catch Santa" like he's been talking about for weeks now. He will discover Santa has been here already and our choices will be get up and "do Christmas" all together or come down stairs at a reasonable hour to discover he has opened all of the presents for everyone all by himself!
