This is completely OT, but I'm hoping a lot of you guys fly, and might be able to offer some advice.

We cashed ~100K miles through Capital One for a family trip from GSO to Seattle later this year.

I was looking at the itenerary online today, and noticed two of the flight times had changed, and that we now have just 14 minutes to make our connection in ATL. We've got a 3 YO in a car seat, so 14 min. just isn't feasible.

DH called Capital One today, and someone is to call us back this week, but we're worried sick about this. :guilty: Their itenerary has a disclaimer saying that they are non-refundable and non-changeable, BUT if the flight changes make it impossible to make the connecting flight, will they change them?

Thanks for any advice you might have,

Marci

Try calling the airline directly. Have some alternate flights in mind. They should change your reservation as needed to make the connection and also to suit your schedule, provided the alternate flights are not sold out.

I'm sure 14 minutes is not a legal connection time in Atlanta, so they would have to change it. If you have a confirmation #, you could call the airline directly and see if they have changed it. When they say no changes, they mean no changes on your part.

Don't worry. :)

Thanks so much, both of you, for your replies! I took your advice and called Delta directly, and they were able to switch us to an earlier flight into ATL. Whew!!!!
