Ok folks.... need your help... been many many years since I was at Upper Canada Village.... can anyone tell me if it is worth going back to.... last time i was there i think disco was just coming out...lol.... anybody been there lately ????

We went 3 or 4 years ago. I also hadn't been in years before that. I was surprised to see how much had changed. They have added a number of new buildings and moved some others. There are a lot of demonstrations which I found fascinating. I took two of my teenage sons with me that day (15, 13). They love history so it was interesting to see it come to life.

If you enjoyed it years ago I think you won't be disappointed.

thanks Ottawamom.... it will be just the wife and I our daughters to old (20/22) and don't get it when it comes to history....they think history was just before cell phones and Itunes...lol :rotfl2:
I am sure now my wife and I will enjoy the day there....

We went last summer and the kids loved it. I have fond memories of visiting when I was little, we went each summer with the family.

It has changed a lot since then, but it's still fun. Our kids are much younger than yours, but I really think it it's something that is enjoyable for everyone of all ages.

If you do go, don't forget to get the fresh cheese curds and fresh bread :)
