Next week my husband and I are going on a double date with--deep breath--- my baby brother (well, 16 on monday) and his very first girlfriend!! :scared1: Hmmm... I suppose it's only first if you count the neighbour-girl who saw his hoo hoo dilly when they were 3. :rolleyes1 But I digress.
We're looking for a nice, but not overly fancy greek place in the general Etobicoke vicinity. So, a step above Mr Greek, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 (plus tax and tip). Any suggestions, oh wonderful disers?

Here's a few hidden gems a little of the beaten path but well worth the detour and they'll meet you budgetary limits as long as your brother and his date don't drink too much.

I realize the first 3 places are not in Etobicoke. But they will make you brothers first date memorable.
You can always go the Keg, Mandarin and all the other chains later.

Fireplace Restaurant on Jarvis just north or Carlton on the east side.
Awesome Chinese Food. Vince the owner and his wife are nice folks.
Spicy Chicken is awesome. Excellent hot sauce.

Hey cdn ears

Always wanted to try Rocco's they also have a place on Islington.

How does is the cuisine different form Mamma Martinos'?

Here's apic of MM's in the summer. They won first place in 2006 in the City Garden competition.

Clicky linky thingy.

The one on the Queensway was the original one and I will always go to that one, smaller in size than MM's. Cuisine is relatively the same, also have a separate area to go in and do takeout.

Like MM's because Tom's is next door for ice cream afterwards!!!

A couple of suggestions. Thats Greek Cuisine @ 1045 The Queensway in Etobicoke. I have only had lunch there & it was very good. The other place is not in Etobicoke but very good none the less. It is Peter's on Eglinton @ 1035 Eglinton Ave. East in Mississauga. (Tomken & Eglinton) Very generous portions here! Have fun on your date!!

Thank's everyone! A few people have now mentioned That's Greek, so I think we'll try it out. :goodvibes I'm so excited!
