Not sure on the "ettiqute" of this..so I am looking for ideas/suggestions..ect..

My good friend is graduating with her Associates degree..she has worked VERY hard and has been through alot, including working 60 plus hours a week, going to school full time and raising her dd on her own. SO she has deffinatly worked hard. But she is continuing onto (another) school getting her Bach. and will grad with that in another 2 years.
It would be up to me to plan a graduation party for her if there was to be one, since she really has noone else that would do it for her. Is it common to have a party when you graduate with Associates and plan on going to finish more? And If I did have a party for her..does anyone have any ideas????

Her Birthday is also right around that time..she will be 25, so I am thinking maybe a combination "graduation/surprise bday party?"

Thanks so much.

Of course you can have a party. This is a big accomplishment regardless of whether or not she's going on to a BS. Now you just need to decide how big the party will be, whether to have dinner out or finger foods, etc. Congratulations to your friend :wizard:

At the very least get some people together and treat her to dinner, by all means have a party!!! (I sure did for mine!)
