I could not find the old thread but last at the end of July I posted about an 18 mos I watched a couple days a week. Well, the mother was angry that I was putting him time out for hurting other children (after a warning and I sat with him on the sofa and explained why in to) despite having in my contract and explaining before hand. I was upset because we had been on friendly terms and she pulled him w/o even telling me and not picking up their stuff after repeated messages on my part. I still have 2 huge bags of his stuff
Well, just to update you all who were so kind and supportive. She is now talking to me again (we see each other at a child function) and apparently she NOW believes is time out. You see she just had a baby and he is now hitting and throwing toys at the baby. However, TO is not working (I think because she has started to late) In fact, the boys father has made the mothe quit working and she now plans to open a daycare like me.
So again, thanks for all the support it made me feel so much better, since the mother had made me feel like I was in the wrong. I thought you would all like to know the outcome.

However, since her little boy has hit my client's new baby and drags her older DD by the hair she told me no way. They are having problems having play dates because he is out of control. It was nice of my client to reassure me.
