OT- thousand trails orlando

I have never been there, but friends of ours have. They said it was nice but that there were a lot of older folks that were regulars and didnt like the kids running around. They said they felt very out of place.

Nice campground, there are a lot of older folks there in the winter, we went in April and it was fine but we stayed toward the rear of the park away from the acticities area as we were using it to go to Universal and Sea World before we went into Fort Wilderness

thanks for the replies. We have 2 boys 10 and almost 4. I would hate to go anywhere that we felt uncomfortable. They ARE boys so you know how they tend to be. We thought about going here a few days after disney just to unwind alittle. We will be to tired to do anything else!! So I dont think somewhere like here is a good idea for us.

We stay here a lot throughout the year. Yes, the older folks are not very friendly but, there is a lot to do. My 15 yr old cousin loves it. Free Boat rentals and a lake to go fishing in right on the property. Great place to stay when you can't get in the Fort.
