OT: Things every Canadian should do or see

For years I've kept a sort-of list of things that I've done and seen across Canada that I think every Canadian should experience. These are not simply nice regional things - but things that define the country or portions of it. I'm curious what other people would think should be on this list.

My list includes:
- a visit to Peggy's Cove
- a stroll through Old Montreal and/or Quebec City
- Ottawa on Canada Day
- a ride on the subway in Toronto
- a day at the beach along Lake Huron
- the Calgary Stampede
- a drive through the Rocky Mountains

What would you add to the list?

- hike into one of the back country lodge in the Rockies
- Train thru the Rockies
- Trip up the west coast by boat
- West Coast Trail
- Visit a northern community (we took boat up the Athabasca River to Fort Chip)

Gotta love the Empress Hotel in Victoria! The top floor is accessed by taking the elevator to the 2nd from the top floor and walking upstairs to the top. The rooms there have fantastic character! Geez! Ya made me miss all that fun!

Spend 2 or 3 days in the city of Vancouver. A beautiful city.

Visit British Columbia! Granville Island is a must visit area in Vancouver. I have been to all provinces east of Ontario and BC is by far the most beautiful.

I've never been east of Quebec so travelling that direction is on my bucket list.

Visit outport Newfoundland and Gros Morne National Park on the Northern Peninsula

Visit Louisburg in N.S. See at least a portion of the Cabot Trail.

Ski Whistler in the Winter - hike it in the summer is far more beautiful
The Big Nickel - pose for the family picture
Visit Wiarton Willie and while there explore Bruces Caves
Toronto Island and Centreville
Scuba in Tobermory and take a trip out to Flower Pot Islands

Nope not yet. Just need to get some Manitoba stuff on the list. LOL.

But I do want to get up there! It's suppose to be gorgeous!
