Are these prices accurate? I always thought we paid more than the folks in Ontario for milk. Do stores in Ontario often discount milk? I'm sure my SIL who moved BC to NB last summer told me she was paying much more for milk now than she had before the move.
I think, for example, the price given for Nova Scotia must be based on buying a 1L container. I buy by the 4L jug and I think the standard price is ~ $6.70/4L (or $1.67/L) although in our neighbourhood some of the stores price match Costco so we pay $5.19/4L ($1.30/L) This price matching has only been going on for the last year or so and is only in a small area of he city.
