Well, after almost 24 hours with no power, we finally got our electricity back on at 3:45pm today. My poor DH is an electrician and also installs generators, so he has been working for all but 3hrs of the past 34 hours! At least he got a small generator for us so our refrigerator would still be on!
Anyway, I did not keep track of what the heck I ate yesterday and cannot remember today! I know I cheated a bit, had like 6 cheese puffs/curls--but it was direct stress from having no electricity, honest!
Hope all of you in all the states affected are doing okay--of course most of you can't read this right now! Let's hope all our overpaid politicians can get something done ASAP so this won't happen in the middle of winter!
Keep Cool!

Including the hospital.
The power came on JUST as we arrived home. We knew the power was on at COstco and I wanted to check for the halloween costumes I've been hearing about on other boards so off we went again! (It gave the house time to cool down!) We didn't find the costumes but you should have seen the place. All the coolers were empty or in the process of being emptied. It was terrible to see all that food going to waste.
