Thanks to all the DISers who gave me such good advice on Sesame Place. I went yesterday with a group of friends and we had a great time.
-The park was empty! Early in the season & a weekday is the way to go.
-Preferred parking was steps away from the main entrance, worth the extra $3.
-Food was mediocre at best. Next time I'd pack a lunch. We brought snacks and water bottles/juice boxes with us.
-Many water rides were not open until 3:15. We assumed a lack of lifeguards early in the season.
-There were 15 of us total, so we were able to pre-purchase group tickets at a cost of about $23 per person. Great deal.
It's no Disney, but a nice day trip. I think if it were crowded we would not haev enjoyed it as much (or at all!).
