I am considering ordering some figurines from the Royal Daulton Outlet in Orlando, but I am not sure where to look to find out what I can expect to pay in duty. They come to about $100. US and I live in Canada, does anyone know where I can find this info?

Thanks

Generally, paying duty on items from the US depends on a) what it is and b) value.

For any item/shipment under $20 Canadian, you do not have to pay any duty or taxes. For anything over $20 Canadian, you will have to pay duty (could be anywhere from 0-20% depending on item) as well as GST/PST or HST.

If someone sends you a gift, the exempted value goes up to $60 Canadian.

There are some exceptions sometimes, like some people who aren't charged for duty for their items, but these are the normal rules. If the items are shipped by UPS or Fedex you'll also encounter substantial brokerage fees.
