Ok, so my DH has to earn 3 more credits by 1/2008 to get a free flight. Two of those credits we will earn in October when we fly to Disney. Any other suggestions on how to earn the last credit or they all expire 2008!!!

Thanks!

YUP....rent an Alamo car when you get to Disney on your next trip. If you travel before December 15 you get double credits. Normally you get 1/2 credit for each rental but now you get one full one. You have to book throught the Southwest website. Enjoy your free flight! ;)

Do you have a Southwest Visa card? You get credits just for signing up for one.

I have actually flown to St. Louis from Chicago, and turned around and headed back.

Flights at the time were $29 each way.

Ditto the car rental - have rented the cheapest car for a day, then returned it.

You get 8 credits for signing up for the Southwest Visa card. The only down side is the annual fee of $59. We each have one and put all our charges/bills on them and earn 4 or 5 trips a year.

The rental car option might be your best option.

Are you sure all 15 of the credits will expire 1/08? With Southwest, each credit stands alone with its own expiration date. For example, if the earliest credit was earned on 1/1/06, on 1/2/08 you'll only have that credit subtracted from your account.

I don't know if this is still available, but a while back SW was offering a RR credit for downloading DING to your desktop.

Ok, I see what you mean...I won't loose all my points, just the one that was the oldest that will expire 1/2008.

Thanks!!
