So I think my husband has scored us free tickets to go see Star Wars in Concert tomorrow night at the new Cowboy Stadium. Has anyone seen this concert? He is VERY excited and while I don't like the shows as much as him I have heard this is a wonderful show. PLUS we will get to see the new stadium without having to pay hundreds of dollars on tickets.

Would love hear if anyone has any thoughts on the show.

TIA! May the force be with you. Okay that was dorky.

Lucky you!! That concert looks so incredible...and to see it in Cowboy stadium - wow!

Have a great time!

Sa-weet, that you got those for free! I bought DH tix for his b'day in November.

I wanted to spring for the VIP package but at $300/pop, not gonna happen...

Let us know how it is and what to expect!!

I wanted to go see it in New Orleans next week, but it's on a weekday and it's a 2.5 hr drive from where I live. And no one wanted to go with me see it. Oh well. I hear it's fantastic!

I'll let everyone know how it was. When I heard about it I looked at getting tickets but for nice seats it was going to be close to $400 for 3 people. I have seen all the movies and enjoyed them but my husband is a HUGE fan of Star Wars and so is our 14 year old daughter. Of course when I told her she kind of acted like she didn't want to go. I think this is a case of being "too cool for school." I'm pretty sure she will be blown away when she sees it.

jpeka...I'm going to be up your way next weekend. My daughter and I are coming to Kansas with some friends to see Wicked. We agreed to go before they announced that Wicked is coming back to Dallas next year. Ready to kick myself but oh well. We will have fun.

Cool! I saw Wicked when it came through awhile back. Very good but super $$$ and I just couldn't bring myself to spend the money to see it again!

I think I'll enjoy Star Wars, though. DH will be in NERD HEAVEN!

The concert was fun. The sound was awful - but the visual was pretty stunning on that jumbo board. And that new stadium is something else. It is a gorgeous building. Such a shame it costs so much to get in the thing for any event.

Concert was great. But, if you can find it, it was a direct live production of Star Wars: A Musical Journey DVD

This is coming to our city next month and I'm on the fence about seeing it. The tickets are a little pricey for my liking, but maybe I'll go anyway just to check it out~
