The only thing I'm dreading about the upcoming trip is not being able to get a big, delicious, refreshing cup of iced coffee whenever the mood strikes me (which, sadly, is several times a day when the weather is warm). I love my coffee, and will be packing a week's supply of my fancy-shmancy-oooooooh-sooooo-good home stash to make a batch of iced each morning. A smidge of cream, a couple of Splendas, and a ton of ice. YUM!

So, a few questions. Do you love coffee? How do you take it? And when you're in the World, how do you deal? Do you bring your own, drink that stuff, seek out the in-park alternatives, go off-site, go without (GASP!)?

I'm definitely a coffee-aholic! I bring my own coffee to have in the morning. I can't function without it. I like it with creamer/half-n-half only, no sugar! When I'm at home, I usually make two pots a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, around 2ish. When we're at WDW, I will have my morning coffee and then I usually skip my afternoon cup, except if we're at Epcot, there's a couple places there where I'll get coffee - usually more of a specialty variety, like mocha.

Can't STAND WDW coffee, and I need a cup to get me started in the morning. We bring our own to brew in the room, along with some sugar and creamer. Or, I pack some of those Starbucks Frapps.

At home, I use a Keurig machine during the week (which has been a LIFESAVER for making quick coffee with 2 small kids underfoot) and we usually brew a regular pot on the weekend when DH is home. And once a week I treat myself to a vanilla latte at Starbucks.

Love, love, love my Keurig. I may just bring it next time we go (a friend of mine just bought the smaller commercial version off of E-Bay for traveling). I'm planning on buying disposable travel cups to take a cup along in the AM (either from my Keurig or from the villa pot if I don't bring mine).

LOVE my Keurig! It's one of the best purchases I've made since becoming a SAHM!! I usually go with the Kona blend with a little milk. On occasion, I like to treat myself to a tall "non-fat" (yeah, right!) caramel macchiato from Starbucks (iced during the summer - YUMMY!).

Last trip to WDW, I packed my own coffee and made it in the room. Never even tried the coffee there.... is it really that bad? I hear the Poly serves good coffee so I'm planning to give it a try next trip.

We bring our own coffee from home and brew it in our room. I'm addicted to this Hawaiian Luau coffee that our local beanery offers. That dishwater they call coffee at Disney should be outlawed. :scared1:

How do you all drink coffee in the heat??? (I know this started out with iced coffee, but it seems that there are some hot coffee lovers as well). When I'm in Disney it's all about the water for me! Especially at this time of year!

I love coffee, but I have absolutely no desire to drink it when it's hot out. It makes me sooooo uncomfortable. I can't even drink it in the morning during this time of year because I'm still hot when it gets hot!

I understand addiction though...I am addicted to my McDonald's Cokes...I just love it from the fountain...the can just doesn't do it for me!

Good luck feeding your "addiction" during your trip! ;)

I **love** coffee. It's one luxury that I cannot live without. At WDW, we stay in DVC villas, so I bring my own coffee* from home and pick up half and half at the resort gift shop. I start and end my day with a mug full. I don't generally drink coffee during the day, so it's a non-issue in the parks. The iced coffees are pretty good though.

*My favorites are Starbucks Verona and Seattle's Best Henry's Blend

I have my coffee in the morning and then right before bed. When I'm in my resort room, my body doesn't know its hot outside. :confused3 Now addicting...possibly, although I drink decaf and some days I drink no coffee at all. DH on the other hand...must have the full caffinated jolt each day and without it...well, you don't want to be around him. :scared1:

I LOVE my Keurig too! I threw out my regular pot since I'm the only one in the house that drinks coffee. On the rare occasion that I have company, making coffee becomes a form of entertainment - people love playing with the machine and trying a new flavor or brand of coffee, since I always have a stockpile of k-cups.

What???!!?? There's a smaller travel size???  I need to find one of those for when we go to the beach!

Back on topic - the coffee at WDW is the pits. Since we always rent a car, I usually send my husband to McDonalds or DD for coffee in the morning - poor thing doesn't even drink it, but he knows how I am if I'm forced to drink Nescafe :scared1: .
