OT (sort of): ? Tax Return and PO tracking . . .

I couldn't efile this year. I mailed the return on April 15th. PO tracking (DC) shows that it has been at the Kansas City, MO PO since the 18th. SHould I be worried? I suppose it is sitting there thousands of other returns. Why doesn't the IRS have it already? Priority mail is 2-3 days tops. ?????

never mind - I just checked again and it was delivered this morning . . .took a full week. I guess the PO was just overwhelmed with all the last minute filers . . . .

Don't worry, as long as the post mark is dated before the 18th, it does not matter.

I know and I did get it postmarked. I needed to know it was not "lost" at the PO since I am getting a refund.
