yes...sorry its off topic but this is where I post the most and always get nice helpful responses so here goes... I am wondering if it is possible to get the creases (from being folded up in the package) out of a new plastic shower curtain. and its a POTC curtain so its kinda Disney related.

Once you hang it and the steam from the shower hits it most of the creases should go away..If not and it is a fabric curtain, you could take a moist towel and place it over the creases in the curtain and iron it lightly till they flatten out!!:thumbsup2

I saw in your post that you said it was plastic. Could you by chance mean vinyl? I have a vinyl one in my DDs' bathroom which had creases. They will disappear w/ time, but mine took a couple of months. HTH.

Well, I only had 1 vinyl shower curtain and I actually ironed it...I took a bath towel and put it over the curtain and ironed through the bath towel, and it gave it enough of heat to get the creases out, but you need to be careful you dont touch the curtain;)

If you have a clothesline, hang it outside on a warm day for an hour or so. The heat of the sun will warm it and the creases will pull out.

it will be ok if you throw it in the dryer for a minute or 2. I machine wash my vinyl shower curtain and then toss it in the dryer for just a minute until its just warm and they toss right out.

I guess it would be vinyl. Thanks for the replies, I knew I could count on you guys and gals. I actually got the POTC one (well, DS got it for xmas....something kool and practical) and I got a semi clear/white liner for behind it in effort to keep the fancy one from becoming yucky so fast.

we are remodeling our bathroom and the end of it is finally in sight:woohoo:
we have an old log house and the bathroom is kinda small and odd shaped. We put in a new tub and walls (which are bigger than the old tub and walls) so to fit it in the old plaster and EVERYTHING in the tub area had to be torn down to the logs, then DS had to custom fit new studs around the funky shaped logs for the tub and walls. It just turned into a major undertaking and taking way longer than I expected.

So the new tub, wall, and drywall are finally in and painted (so I can finally put up a curtain and take a real shower) and all that and he is putting the finishing touches on the rest of the painted areas of the room. The new flooring has yet to go in so I only have the white liner curtain up for now. Going to wait till it is all done to put up the fancy one.
