OT: Segway Tour Video

I was one of those in the other thread that knew of the tour, but never seen it, or any practical application since I had first heard of them years ago.

I wish there had been a bit of the "bloopers" of the initial learning curve, but it was wonderful to see, especially the access to the park portion.

Thank you Potato so very much!!
:thumbsup2

I have taken the tour last April. It was AWESOME! I have wanted my very own Segway ever since. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I live in a little town and I would be able to use it frequently, it's just the problem of a DD, if there was a side car, I would be all set!

They instructors were a lof of fun and were joking that the next tour needed to be Extreme Segway, kind of an off road bajah type of thing but they doubted that Disney would ever let them do it.

Love it! We've taken the tour twice and are doing it again next Wednesday! This time my FIL is going with us, I'll have to show him your video so he knows what he's in for!

Not actually my video, just something I found on the net. ;)

But next time I'm at WDW, I'm definitely going to try it! :woohoo:

I did the tour in December of 2004. I had so much fun with it, and I have
the obligatory picture of me on it with SpaceShip Earth in the background. ;)

If you have a Disney Visa, there was a better discount than the Annual
Passholder discount. I think AAA, AP, and Disney Visa were the only
discounts offered.

Always book it far in advance by calling 407-WDW-PLAY. I recommend
booking early because there are only about 10 spots per tour and only
two tours per day (for the one that goes through World Showcase).

I would love another tour, and I did read a rumor that they will have an
"off road" Segway experience in Fort Wilderness.

Many of us suggested an intermediate tour for those of us who were
comfortable on the first tour, or a tour in other parks.

Thx gfor the thread and the link because we have been thinking about going on one of these tours when we go to Disney next week and now this might just convince them to do it. Thx a lot agin for the link :)

If you at least 16 years old, and if you can find room in a tour during your visit on such short notice, I'd say go for it. ;)
