If anyone is familiar with this warehouse can you please share. We've never been and are wondering if it's worth a 1 1/2 hour drive for Christmas shopping. Thanks!

Hello ... I go to the warehouse off of Hwy 7 (Beaver Creek Drive) ... is that the one you are going to or the one closer to T.O.? I drive from Orillia to go there. It does have some good deals. I love all the kids books and colouring/painting book stuff. My oldest dd is also really into paints and crafts, so there is always lots of Crayola stuff. They usually have a season behind ... so for instance I could buy a ton of Mermaidia stuff and next year they will likely have some 12 Dancing Princess stuff. They are sell offs, overstock, discontinued, etc. Depends what you are looking for. I always seem to spend at least $100 though :teeth:
!!!

Actually we are going to the one in London, Ontario...which is something new and only there for two weeks. Thanks for your reply!

We're thinking of going to the London one also for our little granddaughter. :sunny: I know when my kids were younger a yearly trip to Samko's in Toronto was always alot of fun and we always got a ton of toys for the boys but this warehouse in London is new! :)

I was at the Samko sale in London on Saturday. After shopping (and getting some good buys!), Mary Liz and I stood in line for 1½ hours! But it was worth it. It's not so crazy now. Mom was in Sunday and Monday with no/little line to check out. I bought some cute stocking stuffers for the older kids ($2 each-wrench, games etc), Barbies for DNieces' birthdays($10 and $15-half price), Secret Santa gifts (wine stopper, corkscrew, drip collar for $5). There were some really good deals on baby/toddler toys, and....I think that I will brave it again! :rotfl2: I know that Mary Liz has been back! And that she spent more than me. :lmao:

I was curious to about the London one too. Is it as good as the Toronto one?

Dh and I are on the social club at work so together with the other two members we drive 1 1/2 hours to the Toronto. We usually manage to pick up all 65 childrens presents for Christmas.

I've been to the one in Toronto as well as the one in Markham(not every year mind you) and they sold exactly the same stuff. I would assume that the London one would too. I was at the Markham sale last Saturday and saw tons of flyers for the London.

Although I got alot of great stuff I did have a mix up at the cash. They have one person yelling out the prices and another person putting the amounts into an adding machine and with many other lineups doing the same thing it is really noisy in there. I was charges $25 for something that was only 25 cents so I caution you to watch your bill while you are there!

Thanks for all the information.....I think we'll try and get down to London for a peak.....Jada's 2 now so I hope to get a lot of educational type toys for her! :sunny:

I'm not sure if anyone is still thinking of going but I personally found that it was soooooooo worth it. It was my first experience and I loved it.
