One cute thing is to make placemats. Get a roll or 2 of clear contact paper. Cut 2 sheets for each kid the size of a placemat. Peel one so they have a huge sticky sheet. Give them diecuts, small pieces of ribbons and streamers, and let them stick it to the sheet. When they are done you peel the other piece and sandwich everything inside. Cute, easy, and no mess.
Decorating cupcakes always goes over well.. string fruit loops on licorice
Simple games like throw the rolled up sock in the laundry basket, Go "fishing" (tie a clothespin to a string attached to a stick.. throw a blanket over a table and have an adult sit behind it. Kid goes 'fishing" for a toy and adult clips some fruitsnacks or something on it. Freeze dance is always fun, and you can set up a bowling game.
Simple treasure hunt.. search for stickers, crayons, or whatever else you scatter on the floor.
Don't stress about it.. just have some stations set up and they'll wander around. Put out some toys and cover up/move any you don't want dumped out. Have fun!
