If you have a Rogers Digital Cable box with the sports package, why is it on Sportsnet East, West & Pacific if there is an NHL game on it is blacked out in Toronto? The only reason I can think of is because Rogers wants you to purchase the NHL Centre Ice package, although since I am a Leafs fan I can watch their games on TSN, Sportsnet Ontario, CBC & Leafs TV so with that being said I am not a fan of any other team so why purchase NHL Centre Ice? Anyway the thing that is even more weird when the other Sportsnet channels show a Baseball game from Seattle or a Basketball game that is not on Sportsnet Ontario, those broadcast I can see if I choose to. Anyway if anyone can answer this for me I would appreciate it.

It has something to do with home games.

If the games are not sold out ( :rotfl2: ), then they will not televise.

I guess that could be the reason, but I had always thought Oilers, Canucks & Flames games always sold out. When they play American teams on the road that is a different story then in terms of that arena selling out.
