Off topic but I am hoping that someone can give me some advice.

My pre-schooler goes to private day care but goes to Pre-school 3 afternoons a week.

Issue, the person we pay to provide transportation to does not want to do it anymore. Eventhough I am paying her $50 a month to drive a total of 18km a week.

Anybody have any expereince with this? I think I have seen "Mom's Taxi" types of services around but can't seem to find anything. We live in Oakville with no family around if I cannot find an alternaive my DD will have to drop out of school and she loves it.:sad1:

Hey Ed...I also live in Oakville.

There is a service that picks up kids at my DD's school. It's callled "Kids Limo" and they have a website on the van. It's something like kidslimo.ca I have considered it at times but have never looked into it.

If you find some info post it. I'd love to know.

Surfer ED.....I just happened to notice Dreams Take Flight in your signature. We had the opportunity 2 years ago to participate in the early morning party before the kids boarded the planes. My oldest DD(now 18) performed there. I have never had a prouder moment than when, on our way home after the planes left, she turned to me and said "that was so worth it". I thought, thank heaven this kid finally gets it.

I will never ever forget that event. That was more Disney magic than I have ever(or will ever) experience.

Hi Dancin Disney Style,

Thanks for the name. I have been trolling the net trying to find a service like this and have not been successful. Maybe with the name I will have more luck. I know I have seen mini-vans in my area but have not bothered to get the names of the companies.

Dreams Take Flight is an awesome experience:lovestruc . I have been involved for a few years and lucky enough to be chosen as Group Leader 2X. Both times I was moved to tears by these kids...wow . Usually can't talk about it for a few days without getting a tear in my eye.

It brings a whole new meaning to the park for sure. Last year I took my wife to the hanger with me and her coment was simmilar to your daughter's. At first, not sure she thought getting up at 4:00 am was a good idea but this year she wants to volunteer again.

I will let you know if I can find anything out transportation wise.
